Our customer , European owned corporation of engineering companies serving the OIL & GAS and industrial market sectors is searching for a CREDIT MANAGER that Reports to Chief Financial Officer
JOB SUMMARY The position holder is responsible to manage all aspects of credit and collection .
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define customer key for anagraphics, FIDO, contract statment .
- Monitors and Defines Course of Action on Critical Accounts.
- Monitors Customer’s Payment Status , prepares the monthly summary analysis for Chief Financial Officer and Accounting manager.
- Review of Special Collections, Litigations and Legal Actions including Bankruptcies; lead the dunning process reducing external Legal costs.
- Works in strict liaison with the Accounting and Sales Team to ensure the appropriate credit and cash relevant accounting entries are timely and accurately posted.
- Participates to the preparation of the Watch-List for Credit Related Items
- Review of Application of Credit and Rebilling as well as coordination of resolution of deductions, disputes and rebate programs
- Coordination of resolution of unclear Customer Deductions.
- Preparation of Customer Cash Flow Forecast,
- Review of credit referrals and releases, perform detailed analysis for Regular Credit Limits Review
- Perform Analysis of Repayment Plans, guarantees, collateral/security and special customers position.
- Monthly, quarterly and annual review of Receivables, Past Due and Critical Accounts.
- Support to relevant Audit Actions.
- Monthly /Quarterly/Yearly Credit Reporting
Manage of the customer contracts and of all the Bank guaranties to be issue.
Manage, accurately, all of the invoicing parts to the customer
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Accounts Receivables Balance , Past Due Performance
- Credit Policy Compliance
- Third Party Financing and Collection Costs
Minimum requirements
- University degree in business economics or similar qualification
- Proven previous experience in a Finance / Credit Manager Role.
- Native Italian, Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Desired requirements
- Strong communication skills and capability to coordinate processes across functions and countries.
- Coming from OIL & GAS Businness or from AUTOMOTIVE
- Capability to work under pressure.
